Pocket Paramedic provides educational clinical reference summaries and non-drug learning tools using fictional cases and manikins. Drug-dose calculators are excluded from this reference edition.

On your device

Preferences, favourites, recently viewed guidance and checklist progress may be stored locally. Calculator entries and reflection searches are processed on your device. Do not enter patient identifiers or confidential clinical records.

Collection and sharing

This release has no sign-in, advertising, cross-app tracking or analytics SDK. It does not upload calculator inputs, reflections or patient records. The optional AI assistant is unavailable in this release and sends no queries.

The native apps

The clinical library and app files are bundled on your device. Typed search works locally. Browser speech recognition is disabled in the native apps. This release does not request microphone, location, contacts or health-record access. Attaching an image is optional; the iOS image chooser may offer camera or photo-library access. Only attach fictional training material. Images are processed locally and are included only in the exercise you choose to export.

The web version and external services

The web version downloads application files and educational content from Vercel. Normal hosting request information, such as IP address and browser information, may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. This reference edition uses typed local search and does not offer voice search.

External references open the relevant provider’s service, whose privacy practices apply. Calling an emergency number uses your device’s telephone service. Sending support email or choosing a share action sends the information you select through your chosen service. On native apps, saving an exercise opens the system save/share sheet. A temporary copy is created in the app cache and removed when that sheet closes. Copied exercises go to the device clipboard. Use fictional cases only.

Your controls

You can clear this site’s browser data or remove the native app to remove its local preferences and downloaded content. Browser or device backups are controlled by your device settings.
